Severe Deep Overbite Correction

This patient shows the correction of a severe deep overbite with spacing between the upper front teeth, rotated upper lateral incisors, and a Class II bite. Treatment involved braces, elastic wear, and about 20 months of precise orthodontic care.

A deep overbite isn’t just a cosmetic concern — it can cause premature wear on the front teeth and strain on the bite over time. Functionally, this patient’s bite was balanced and stabilized, while esthetically, aligning and rotating the upper lateral incisors properly created a broader, more natural-looking smile.

High (ectopic) Canine, Deep bite, and crowding

This patient was treated with braces and involved correction of a moderate deep overbite, an ectopic (high) canine, and excess overjet caused by a Class II malocclusion. Treatment included the use of braces and elastics over approximately 18 months.
