The Invisalign Treatment Process
Your First Consultation
At your initial consultation, we will discuss your orthodontic needs and evaluate whether Invisalign treatment is right for you.
Your Custom Treatment Plan
We will use a 3D digital scanner called the iTero® to create a precise, highly detailed 3D digital model of your teeth. Then our doctor will map out a precise treatment plan, including the exact movements of each tooth, the number of trays for your treatment, and how long your treatment will take.
Your Invisalign Clear Aligners
Your aligners are custom-made from Invisalign’s proprietary SmartTrack® material. They’re virtually invisible, so most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them during your teeth straightening.
Wear your Invisalign clear aligners 20 to 22 hours a day for the best results, and take them out only to eat, brush, and floss.
Your Progress
As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth will gently and gradually shift into place. Depending on your individual needs, our doctor will determine when you begin wearing your next set of aligners and will schedule checkups about every six weeks.

How Long Does InvisalignTake?
Orthodontic treatment with Invisalign can take anywhere as short as 3-4 months and as long as 2-3 years. It depends on the type of bite and crowding/spacing you are starting with.
What Does Invisalign Do?
Clear aligners are a method of orthodontic bite and tooth correction where a series of aligners are first designed by your orthodontist and then manufactured by a dental labratory (in this case, Invisalign). Your orthodontist designs the ultimate tooth and bite positions as well as the sequence of tooth movements using special software. Once the treatment sequence is developed Align Labratories manufactures your Invisalign aligners based on these specifications.
How Do I Clean My Invisalign Retainers?
Your aligners should be cleaned every time you wear them using a toothbrush and water. Ideally every morning and night they are brushed with a clear dish soap or toothpase and a toothbrush.
How Much Does Invisalign Treatment Cost?
Invisalign treatment at Friedman Aronson Orthodontics costs the same, or somtimes less, than treatment with traditional metal braces. The treatment cost is based on the uniqueness of your bite and difficulty in correcting it. Treatments range from 950 up to 5990. At your complementary consultation you and one of our doctors will go over your treatment and you will know exactly how much the Invisalign treatment will cost.
